James Edward Pugh, better known as "Butch," was born to Jimmy and Rosetta Pough, October 24, 1953 in  Chicago, Illinois.  James graduated from King High School. Shortly after high school he relocated to California to further pursue his career in buisness.

James worked as a securtiy officer for 10 years until he became part owner of his own buisness at Top Buy Liquors for 15 additional years he always carried a smile and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. James loved spending quality time with his family and always showed how much he loved you by giving big hugs and wet kisses.  James departed this life to live eternal life on 04/22/2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Marcus Pough.

James is survived by 1 child, Tuteekia Moseley. He also is survived by 8 grandchildren: Tieara, Niajara, Ronisha, Tyray, Ashanti, Gymelah Jabari and Zariah, 1 great-grandson, Deangelo;  6 sisters: Judy, Shirley, Barbara (Johnny), Delores, Sharon and Stella; 1 brother, Charles all of Chicago, IL, along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends who will all miss him dearly.
