James Allen Canfield, 51, of Factoryville, passed away at his home Wednesday surrounded by his family.James is the son of James E. and Gloria Fiske Canfield and was born on November 12, 1961 in Montrose. He married the former Carol Ann Pratt on July 28, 1984. James was employed at S&K Stone of Meshoppen as a truck driver. James enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting and cutting wood. In addition to his parents and wife, James is survived by a daughter Brandy Canfield; son Kevin Canfield and wife. Jenny; son James Canfield Jr. and wife Katie; seven grandchildren that were the light of his life; sister Kathleen Seamans; sister Cynthia Mirra and husband Tom; brother Dan Canfield and fiancé Joanie; sister Wanda Flemming; brother Paul Canfield and wife Maryanne; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held Saturday January 19, at 4 p.m. at the South New Milford Baptist Church, Harford Road, New Milford, with Pastor James Camacho officiating. A visitation will be held at the church from 2-4 p.m.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Liberty Bank and Trust to the Carol Canfield Memorial Fund in honor of James A.
