Jack Thomas JacksonJackson, MIAge 89, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 in Jackson, MI.  Jack was born on March 5, 1928 in Pageland, SC to Robert and Bessie (Sullivan) Jackson.  He served in the US Army from 1946 to 1947, and the US Air Force from 1951 to 1955.  While in the Air Force in 1954, Jack met and married his wife, Betty Jane Langley, who was also serving in the Air Force. They were happily married for 61 years before her death in 2015.  Jack was also preceded in death by his parents; sister, Margaret Tippins, and brothers, Bobby and John (Pinky) Jackson.  Surviving are children, Deborah (Cole) Sain of Ft. Worth, TX, Michelle (Joe) Waters of Onsted, MI, and Michael (Trinette) Jackson of Painesville, OH; grandchildren, Corey Brethauer, Kyle Hutson, Chad Hutson, Julie Waters, Tracy Waters-Medina, Scott Waters, Kristina DeKraker, and Katey McKinney; seven great grandchildren; and brothers, Therald and Bert Jackson.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated        Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 11:00AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish with Rev. Fr. John Byers as Celebrant.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, 5:00-8:00PM at the Palmer, Bush and Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Holt Chapel, 5035 Holt Rd, Holt, where a Scripture service will be held at 7:00 p.m.  Visitation continues Thursday at 10:00AM at the church.
