CACACE, JOHN V. John V. Cacace, of Madison, died unexpectedly on November 2, 2016 at home. He was predeceased by his wife, Louise (Ferradino). He was born on March 10, 1926, in New Haven, the son of Joseph and Rosa (Storlazzi) Cacace. John attended Georgetown University and graduated from the University of Bridgeport. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army Signal Corps. He retired from Exxon in 1986. John enjoyed gardening, woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his sons, John Cacace of Madison and Paul Cacace and his wife Lisa of Cromwell; grandchildren, Nicholas, Lucas, and Isabella; brother-in-law, Vincent Volpe of Guilford and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Vincent and Joseph Cacace and Madeline Volpe. Calling hours will be held on Friday November 4th from 5-8pm at Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Rd., Madison. The procession will assemble at the funeral home on Saturday at 9am and will proceed to a 10am Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Church, Academy St., Madison.
