Isadore "Isy" H. Gerads, 87St. CloudMay 7, 1930 - Oct. 17, 2017Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Augustine, St. Cloud for Isadore "Isy" H. Gerads, 87, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday. Rev. Doug Liebsch will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Williams Dingmann Funeral Home in St. Cloud, with parish prayers at 7:00 p.m., and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum following services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in St. Cloud.Isadore was born on May 7, 1930 to Albert and Monica (Heitzman) Gerads in Holdingford. He married Juletta Ritter on August 5, 1953 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in St. Cloud. He was a truck driver for Royal Melrose/Cold Spring Granite Company for over 30 years. Isy also worked for over 22 years at the St. Cloud Park Department, tending to the Knights of Columbus Park. He walked strongly in his faith as a member of the Church of St. Augustine. Isy was a dedicated fan of the Minnesota Twins, and also enjoyed playing the lottery, solitaire, woodworking, and hunting.  He was very proud of his lawn, and enjoyed taking care of the yardwork and bird watching. Isy was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be truly missed by all.Isy is survived by his children, Sheila (David) Oien of St. Cloud, Bruce (Evette) Gerads of St. Cloud, Pam (Mark) Rosha of St. Augusta, and Shawn (Cheryl) Gerads of St. Joseph; siblings, Ambrose "Chick" (Shirley) Gerads of St. Cloud, and Shirley (Jim) Shaw of St. Cloud; 9 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Juletta on November 8, 2015; great-grandson, Luke Oien; siblings, Sylvester "Butch", Violet, infant brother Elmer, Alvina, David, Annie, and Marvin.
