Irene RoanDecember 13, 2016Irene Roan was born on September 14, 1935 in Fort Myers, FL to her parents Harney and Thelma McClenithan. She passed away on December 13, 2016 in Fort Myers, FL at the age of 81.Irene is survived by her sons Jerry Allen, Mark Allen, Casey Roan and Ronald Roan; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister and brother in law Ken and Gerane Beckler; and many extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.Irene enjoyed taking care of people. She was involved with the Human Resources Department of Hope Hospice for over 20 years. Irene loved to spend her time traveling, shopping, going to bible study and most of all spending time with her family.The family will receive friends for visitation at the Harvey-Engelhardt Funeral Home on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 10-11 am. A Celebration of Irene's life will begin at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest with her late husband Gene Roan at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery following the celebration.
