Funeral services for Bayelyn Rae Harris Smith, infant son of Joshua and Cassie Smith of Burr Ferry, will be held Sunday, November 6, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Burr Ferry United Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Roger Herrington, Joe Clay and Ricky Wead officiating. Burial will follow in the Peavy Family Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville. Visitation was Saturday, November 5, from 3 p.m. and will continue until time of service at the church Sunday. Bayelyn was born on August 30, 2016, in Leesville.  He passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at his residence in Burr Ferry. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Herbert Peavy; grandfather, Daniel McClintock; and great-grandmother, Ruby Rae Howard. Bayelyn is survived by his parents, Joshua and Cassie Smith of Burr Ferry; brother, Banner Smith of Burr Ferry; sister, Joslyn Smith of Anacoco; grandparents, Stephanie & Selwyn Robison of Anacoco, Kenneth Erwin of Hornbeck, and Tammy Leathers of Pollock; great-grandmother, Doris Peavy of Burr Ferry; and a host of aunts and uncles. Words of comfort may be expressed to the Smith Family atwww.labbymemorial.com
