Ila C. StowersJune 15, 1936 - January 14, 2016Ila C. Stowers, 79, of Kuna, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2016 in her home surrounded by family after suffering from a long time illness. She was born on June 15, 1936 in Lemmon, South Dakota, along with her twin sister Leona. Ila volunteered for the Auxiliary Pink Lady's at Dameron Hospital in Stockton, CA. She was a member of the Moose Lodge of Napa, CA for many years where she received the honor of Senior Region. Ila was a Red Hat Lady for several years. She also volunteered for the Senior Meals on Wheels program for several years. Ila was a member of the Kuna Anchor Baptist Church for many years. Ila truly enjoyed life, good food and socializing. She had a passion for dancing, playing cards with family and friends, her wonderful rose garden, and her many poodles (especially Pierre). Her smile could light up any room. She is survived by her three children, Donald Voshall of Meridian, ID, Pauline and Steve McGrath of Napa, CA and Lorna Voshall-Frazier of Marsing, ID; her loving legacy of 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; her twin sister, Leona Johnson of San Pablo, CA; sisters Marilyn Zimmerman of Napa, CA, Shirley Myers of Napa, CA, Donna Davis of Newman, CA; brothers Stanley Davis of Fernley, NV and Don Davis of Glendale, UT.She was preceded in death by her husband, John Stowers, son Charles Voshall, sister Evelyn, brother Lyle Davis, mother Christine Davis and father Ray W. Davis.A memorial service to honor and celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel.
