Partenheimer, Horst L.Horst L. Partenheimer passed away peacefully on August 6, 2017 in Vero Beach, FL. The youngest of four boys, he was born on March 1st, 1934 in Berlin, Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1956 to serve in the US Army and Air Force. Upon his honorable discharge from our Armed Services, Horst settled in California where he built an illustrious career in Management with Kaiser Aluminum. Never one to sit still for too long, upon his retirement from Kaiser, Horst established a successful Business Consulting practice in Vero Beach. His practice gave him the opportunity to travel to many Countries and work with Business Leaders from all over the world. Horst's greatest passion was for his family, especially his Grandchildren. "Papa Horst" was always there for them and enjoyed their visits to Florida which almost always included trips to Disney World and playing at the beach. Horst enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities and was a member at Vero Beach Country Club for over 20 years. Horst is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Gail (Kappelmann) Partenheimer (whom he affectionately called "Sweetie"), brother Dieter, his son Ingolf (wife Michelle), his step-children; Kevin(wife Katie), Brian, Gretchen (husband Steve), Kristen, and his nine grand-children Brian, Corinne, Shannon, Meagan, Kelsey, Christopher, Colton, William, and Audrey. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed both by his family as well as his faithful companion Shirelle, a toy poodle that Gail and he rescued. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Paula Partenheimer, and brothers Johann and Gunther.
