Moyer, Herbert L., age 83, retired from Cargil as elevator superintendent, passed away Friday, July 27, 2007. The visitation will be held from 5 - 8 PM Monday, with services scheduled for 1:00 PM Tuesday, both in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb Road. Burial will take place at 3:30 PM, in Harper, Kansas. Herbert was born on October 27, 1923, in Ulysses, Kansas to Percy and Edith (Landes) Moyer. On June 29, 1946, he married Florence A. Babcock here in Wichita. They just recently celebrated their 61st anniversary. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his sons, Leonard, Bryan (Lisa) Moyer, daughters, Barbara Moyer, Patricia Holmes, Naomi Ruth (Darrell) Tate, sister, Billie Neal, 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
