Helen Josephine McCaslin, born to Lillian and Earl C. Clevenger of Balch Springs, Texas on February 23, 1925 died of natural causes in Tulsa, September 10, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.
Helen was a longtime volunteer assisting with activities at Tulsa’s First Lutheran Evangelical Church. Helen survived her beloved husband of many years, James Marvin McCaslin, following his death in September of 1992. The two had previously traveled together happily and extensively throughout North America.
She will be well remembered by many for her vitality, her humor, her generosity of spirit and her kindness.
She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Clevenger, daughter, Lillian Janice Beauchaine, son-in-law Dave Beauchaine, her son, Kenneth Michael McCaslin, daughter-in-law Tina Lerch, grandson Maxim James McCaslin and son, James Jay McCaslin as well as a host of beloved nieces, nephews and uncountable friends, young and old who treasured her bright, unflappable hospitality and happy presence.
A memorial service will be held at First Lutheran Church, 1244 South Utica Ave, Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Friday, September 20 at 10 AM.
