Helen M. ConradLANCASTER: Helen M. Conrad 89 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born on July 26, 1927 to the late John and Bertha Reid. She was a student of Cedar Heights and a graduate of Lancaster High School Class of 1946. She had 13 siblings and married Howard L. "Sonny" Conrad in 1946. They had three children, Joyce Conrad (Michael) Norris, Terry Conrad and Johnny (Peggy) Conrad all of Lancaster, Ohio; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; siblings, Betty Arent, Jeannette (Ed) Morris, Linda (Bob) Young, George (Jean) Reid, Bill (Paula) Reid, Harold "Ray" (Patty) Reid and Larry (Janet) Reid; many nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Howard in 2004, parents, and siblings, John Reid, Jr., Louise Shaw, Mary Cunningham, Lucille Joos, Bobo Reid and Thomas Reid. After the passing of her husband, she moved in with her daughter, Joyce in 2008. She loved taking rides looking for deer, sitting outside watching birds and squirrels. She spent time watching the Buckeyes and Cavs with family. Helen loved visits from her grandchildren. She worked at Anchor Hocking Glass Corp. in the 1960's and later her and her husband operated and owned the Long Branch Café. Caring Cremation® by the FRANK E.
