Kittell, Hazel JoanHazel Joan Kittell, age 84 of Kewaunee died on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Kewaunee. She was born on December 3, 1932 to the late Leonard and Verna (Ebert) Saniter in Watertown, Wisconsin. She was baptized and confirm at St Mark's Lutheran Church and attended St Mark's Lutheran School in Watertown. While attending St Mark's church on Sundays she rang the bells for church service. After graduation form Watertown High School June 1950, she attend a Prospect Hall Secretarial School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On May 11, 1952 she married Wayne Koehn Kittell of Hustisford, Wisconsin where they settled on a farm in the Hustisford area and raised their family and work at Mercury Marine in Hartford, Wisconsin. In late 1969 they move to Kewaunee, Wisconsin where she worked at the Kewaunee Court House in the Register of Deeds Office. Later she worked at the Slatky, Wolske & Mehn Law Office. In 1987 she join her husband driving Semi cross country until their retirement. She was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Kewaunee and the Ladies Aid of the church.Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Koehn Kittell, on October 3, 2001, parents Leonard and Verna Saniter, one daughter, Barbara, sister Carol (Saniter) Perez, brother and sister in law, Alfred and Lorain Kittell. She is survived by brother in law and spouse Roy and Ruby Kittell, Lonoke, AR; children and their spouses, Wayne Leonard and Elena Kittell, Kewaunee; Larry Kittell, Green Bay; David and Mary Jo Kittell, Green Bay; and Mike and Catherine Huber, Kewaunee. Grand children and spouses, Wayne Alfred Kittell, David and Jennifer Kuehl, Matthew and Jodi Kittell, Joshua Kittell, Justin and Amanda Worrell, Michael Huber and fiancée Alicia Huben, William and Jessica Ward, Eric and Kelli Laes, Nick and Michelle Morgan, Kurt Sternitzky and Karl Sternitzky and Michelle Dynes. Great grandchildren, Asia Marie Kittell, Elena Lewis, James and Madison Morgan and Mason and Camron Kittell.Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Saturday, March 25, until the time of services. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. by Pastor Michael Sullivan.
