Hattie Louise Strickland, 86, passed on August 18, 2020. She was born to Earl Johnson and Betty Johnson in Decatur, Georgia on November 27, 1933.

She married George Strickland in 1965 and they lived together in Decatur, Georgia. Together they raised 5 children Christopher Strickland (Tonya Strickland ), Courtney Strickland-Myers (Robert Myers), Thomas Stickland, Shawn Strickland (Betty Strickland ), Micheal Strickland . She is also survived by 9 grandchildren.

Hattie worked at Grady Memorial hospital as a nurse until she retired in 2005 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.
