Haston "Hastings" Moore AIKEN, SC - Mr. Haston "Hastings" Moore was called to rest on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Augusta University Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia.He was born on April 7, 1949 in Aiken, South Carolina to Willie Lee and Naomi Moore Briggs.Haston was educated in Aiken County Public Schools and attended Martha Schofield High School. He spent time in the United States Army where he served as Combat Engineer in Vietnam before retiring from the military.In 1974 he married the former Eleanore Holmes and together they reared four sons and one daughter.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, brothers, Charles Edwards Briggs, James Edward Johnson, Emory Briggs, William Taft Edwards, Johnny Ray Moore, and a sister, Willie Mae Smith.Haston leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Shawn O. (Pamela) Holmes, Lester P. (Carmen) Holmes, Samuel Holmes, Quindi O. Mozone and Hastings Q.
