Life long Alaskan Harry Wasilla Henry, 51, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, surrounded by family at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska.Harry was born on March 12, 1965, to Harry and Margaret Theodore in Anchorage. He attended college in Phoenix, Ariz., and had worked as an Emergency Firefighter for the U.S. Forestry Service and in construction. He was raised by David and Helen Henry as a Baptist and was a member of the Friends Church. Harry enjoyed hockey, football, hunting and fishing.Harry was preceded in death by his biological parents, Margaret and Harry Theodore; grandmas, Helen Henry and Dorothy Henry; grandpa, Danny Ewan; and sister, Cynthia Henry.He is survived by his father, David Henry of Anchorage; the Theodore family of Eklutna, Alaska; uncle, Norman Ewan of Gulkana, Alaska; great-aunt, Hazel Neeley of Gulkana; brothers, Arron and David Henry, both of Anchorage; sister, Ursula Henry of Anchorage; aunt, Pauline George of Gulkana; niece, Amy John of Anchorage; and cousin, Josephine Semaken of Anchorage.Visitation will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at the Gulkana Hall in Gulkana, Alaska. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016, at the Gulkana Hall. Pastor Davis Hopson will officiate. Pallbearers will include: Shawn Sanford, Caleb, Andrew and Mark Johns and Albert Craig.
