Gloria was the first born girl of Eurie Sr., and Arnell Davis. She attended E.P Johnson elementary school then attended Carver high school. At an early age she was baptized at Mt. Carmel Baptist church in Summer Hill. She was a veteran chef at Carlisle's restaurant in Atlanta for more than 20 years. 

She was proceeded in death by her parents and three of her brothers; Eurie Davis Jr., Tommy David, and Donald Davis.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Charles Minniefield Sr.; only son, Charles Minniefield Jr.;only grandchild, Latrice Wynder-Wright; and great-grandchildren, Destiny Allen, Serenity David, Messiah Wynder, and Devonne David.
