Giuseppa "Pina" PantoThousand Oaks, CAGiuseppa "Pina" Panto, passed peacefully in Thousand Oaks, Ca on January 12, 2017 at the age 86.Pina is survived by her husband Norman "Nunzio" Panto and her son Frank and daughter-in-law, Julie. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Sarina Roccisano and Anna Valeri. She will also be missed by her beloved family in Italy, as well as all her nieces and nephews, their children and the rest of the family and all the friends she has made over the years.Pina is preceded in death by Her Father and Mother, Pasquale and Giuseppa Vitale and her two brothers Giacomo and Giuseppe.Pina was born on October 11, 1930 in Spadafora, Italy, (Sicily). Pina married Norman, the love of her life, she met him while he was on vacation in Italy. They were married 3 months later and Pina followed Norman to America. They welcomed their only child Frank, 3 years later. Pina son remembers her as a kind, gentle, patient, and loving mother who encouraged him to pursue his dreams.She will be missed by her loving husband Norman, who will miss her beautiful smile, when they met, it was love at first sight and has lasted over 60 years.He will also miss her love and devotion to their son and family. He will also miss playing her favorite songs on the accordion, especially "Just the way you look tonight".He will also miss her generous heart, her forgiving spirit and her never ending love, and her cooking.Pina was an accomplished Fashion Designer with many designs to her name. She has received honors from the Italian Institute of Fashion as well as the Fashion Institute of Design.
