Gilberto E. Delgado, 92, a lifetime resident of Las Vegas passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016, in Las Vegas.He was born on April 1, 1924, to Juan Delgado and Margarita Flores Delgado in La Liendre.He was united in marriage with Aurora Rivera on May 31, 1952, in Las Vegas. He served in World War II and was a Purple Heart recipient.He is survived by his wife, Aurora Delgado of Las Vegas; daughters and sons, Priscilla Lesperance and husband, Louie, of Albuquerque, Margaret Higbee and husband, Hal, of Albuquerque, Everett Delgado of Las Vegas, Jerry Delgado and wife, Amanda, of Albuquerque; sister, Kim Delgado and partner, Annette Clancy, of Las Vegas; 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.Rosary services will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas. Funeral services will be held following the rosary also at Immaculate Conception Church, with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt.
