Gertrude Durden, 87, of Atlanta, Georgia, United States, passed Friday, November 15, 2019. Gertrude was born May 04, 1932. Gertrude was active in her community and neighborhood, everyone would gather at her house every ofther day and especially on Sunday after church because they knew she told some amazing stories of life and a phenomenal dinner prepared for the family. She never met a stranger and truly loved her family.

Gertrude did not have any children of her own but she assisted in the raising of her nephew Charlie (CJ) who was as close to her as her own. She leaves to cherish her beloved nephew Charlie Jordan, sister Mae Cobb Bailey, nieces Michelle Jordan, Freda Wise (Albert), Nephew Ronald Durden and Dwight Jordan.
