Geraldine I. DepaoliApril 17, 1933December 11, 2016Geraldine (Seaberry) Depaoli, 83, died peacefully in her home in Sparks, NV on December 11, 2016. Gerry was born on April 17, 1933 in Portales, New Mexico to Dalton and Edna Seaberry. Along with her sister Joanne, the family moved to Sparks, NV in 1938. On February 7, 1954, she married Fred Depaoli. That spring, she graduated from UNR with a Bachelor's Degree of Education. She taught school for three years, then was a stay-at-home wife and mother of three children. Gerry and Fred were married for forty years until his death in 1994. Later in life, she was married to Moose Puccinelli from 2007 until his death in 2011. Gerry had many interests during her life; she taught accordion and piano when she was only 13 years old. She was a Drum Majorette and an Aggie Queen in college. Fred and her loved to square dance, as well as bowl. She was sorority sister of Kappa Alpha Theta and president of Woman's Bowling League. She was a master and member of the Nevada Star Grange #16 and a member of the Sons of Italy. She was a preceded in death by her parents, her sister Joanne Avanzino, and her two husbands. She is survived by her son, David Depaoli, her daughter and son-in-law, Marcie and Marko Stimac, her daughter, Karen Depaoli, and her four grandchildren, Jacob Stimac, Dalton Depaoli, Jared Stimac, and Samantha Wolfe. Gerry was a supportive and loving mother, and will be missed. A funeral is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Walton's Funerals & Cremations - Ross, Burke, & Knobel, 1538 C Street in Sparks, NV. A celebration of life will be held at 2460 Holman Way in Sparks at 3:00 PM that afternoon.
