Our Beloved Brother Georgie Cephas was born and raised in South Philadelphia. He was the third born of Diane Cephas. He was raised by his mother, Diane, and grandmother, Thelma Cephas, along with his four sisters and three brothers.

Georgie was full of love and laughter, and very protective over his sibilings and family.  "Pimpy" was the name he was known by; as well as, the "5th Street Legend." Georgie was a very caring person with a positive attitude. The smile he would show to his family and friends brightened up any room and he would always think of others before himself.

The guidance of his Aunt Margaret Cephas, also known as, his favorite aunt, kept him uplifted.
