George Wright, Jr. was born October 1, 1960 to the beloved late Joann Williams Rogers and the late George Wright of Orlando, Florida.

George was one of the first babies to be born at Dr. Phillips Hospital AKA now as Guardian Care Rehab Center, on the corner of Church Street and John Young Parkway right here in the city of Orlando, Florida.

George is the oldest of 6 siblings.

George was educated in the Orange County School system, attended and played football for Edgewater High School.

George graduated from Wymore Career Education Center in Eatonville, Florida.

George attended Bethel Baptist Church here in Orlando, Fla in his youthful years.

Working thru the laborer pool, George wore many work hats which included Hubert Construction Company. 

George was well known and liked in his community and leaves behind many sorrowing friends.

George's life was transitioned on Saturday, July 25, 2020 @ 3:30pm.

He leaves to cherish his life, a devoted friend Nanna and a devoted ex wife...Valarie Thorne(Joe), his step children, A stepfather, Mr. Howard Rogers (Etta), 3 brothers...Howard Rogers Jr. (Lillie), Jerome Rogers(Irene), Irvin Rogers. 2 sisters...Angela Williams(Jessie), Velma Rogers(Tasha). 2 aunts...Bonnie Howell(Cecil), Katherine Wright. A host of cousins, nieces, uncle's and other living relatives and dear friends.
