Genteline Teresa PerelliPalm City, FLAge 88 of Brighton, MI formerly of Palm City, FL (1992-2003) passed away March 12, 2017. She was born on May 29, 1928 in Detroit, MI a daughter of Biagio and Ottavia (Ortenzi) Ugolini. On September 9, 1950, she married Getulio "Jet" Perelli Sr., in Detroit. He preceded her in death on March 4, 1998.Mrs. Perelli was a member of the Brighton Chamber of Commerce and Lakelands Golf and Country Club. She enjoyed golf, playing cards, and entertaining as she was a fantastic cook. During her time in Florida, she loved reading to the elementary children at Indiantown Elementary School and found teaching Italian classes to be fulfilling as well. She was loved by everyone who had the privilege to know her.Surviving are her children: Kathleen (Marc) Chiasson, Roxanne (Dan) Garber, Rebecca (J.R.) Yarbrough, Getulio "Jet" (Laura) Perelli, Jr., Maria (Larry) Scherer; as well as 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.Visitation was held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Keehn Funeral Home, Brighton. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, March 17, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Howell with the Rev. Fr. Francis George celebrating. Burial took place at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Howell. Memorial contributions are suggested to Heart to Heart Hospice with envelopes available at the funeral home.
