Gene Schmidt IIIGene R. Schmidt III, 24, of Waterloo, Ill., born on May 19, 1992 in Belleville, Ill., died on Oct. 25, 2016 at his home.Gene graduated from SWIC and worked at Roeslein & Associates in Red Bud, Illinois. He enjoyed having a great time with his friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Gene R. Schmidt, Sr.; his maternal grandfather, Warren J. "Jack" Range; and one brother, in infancy, Nicholas Ryan Schmidt.Survived and missed by his father, Gene R. Schmidt, Jr.; mother, Linda, nee Range, Schmidt; one sister, Lynn Schmidt; one brother, Greg Schmidt; paternal grandmother, Mary Alice Schmidt; maternal grandmother, Mary Ann Range; girlfriend, Erin Hamilton; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
