SULLIVAN, GEORGE MARTIN George Martin Sullivan was born on August 4, 1938 in New Haven, CT to his parents Francis and Astrid Sullivan. He passed away on October 23, 2016 in Ft. Myers, FL at the age of 78. George is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Carmela Sullivan; children Henry Ortiz, Wanda Ortiz, Louis (Debbie) Ortiz, Wayne (Dawn) Ortiz, Michael (Lori) Ortiz, Marty (Linda) Sullivan, Wendy Sullivan and Chrissy Sullivan. George is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. George enjoyed golfing, sports, and going to the casino. Although George was a very quiet person he was a very animated sports follower of the Mets, Giants and sometimes even the Boston Red Sox. George dedicated over 40 years to his career with Sargents Manufacturing in CT, serving both as foreman and parts manufacturer. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in his hometown in CT.
