Frederick M. "Rick" Turner1940 - 2015Frederick M. "Rick" Turner, 74, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Monday, Jan. 19, 2015, at the Kenosha Hospice House.He was born on Sept. 9, 1940, to the late Harry J. and Adele C. (Wenzel) Turner in Kenosha, WI. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha.On Nov. 18, 1967, he married Elizabeth "Betty" Mravik in Chicago, Ill.Growing up, he learned and loved to work on racecars with his father and brother. He enjoyed touring the United States as a truck driver and before that he worked in the auto body industry. Rick was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.Rick's favorite pastime was the "coffee clutch" at his brother's auto body shop. Other hobbies that he loved were midget car racing, shooting pool, watching western movies and coin collecting. He also enjoyed cheering on the Packers especially since his wife is a Bear fan!Rick is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty"; his children ,Sheryl (Tony) Acunal, Greggory (Betty) Turner, Joanne (Joe) Charon and Heidi (Chris) Eckelberg; his brother, Lance (Cheryl) Turner; his grandsons, Antonio Retana, Derrick Turner, Alexander Acunal, Kyle Eckelberg, Jacob Charon, and a niece Anne (Turner) Arneson.Visitation and Funeral Services for Rick will be held on Friday, Jan. 23, at Bruch Funeral Home.
