Fred Harris was born on October 28, 1965 to the late Sheila Harris and Nataniel Gibson.
Fred attended Langley High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After completing his academic studies in Pennsylvania, Fred decided to furher his education at Allegheny Community College also located in Pennsylvania. He attended other institutions of higher education to further his knowledge in the area of counseling, that would help him in his quest to better the lives of other people. Fred worked as a Paraprofessional for various institutions that would aide in the developement of the physically and mentally challenged communities which brought him his greatest joys. Fred had a smile and spirit that would light up any room he walked into. He was a great dancer and really enjoyed reggae music. He also had a love for art festivals and interior design. In addition to Fred enjoying life to the fullest, he had unmovable faith and a great belief in God.
Fred leaves to cherish his memory, his sister, Eldemetrius Harris of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Ron Harris of Chicago, Ilinois and Nathan Harris of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He also leaves to cherish his memory his two sons, Antonio Scott of Decatur, Georgia and Anthony Walker of Decatur, Georgia; two lovely grandchildren; his stepmother, Marlene Parker; two neices, Keisha Harris and Juana Harris; as well as, a host of neices, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends, all whom loved him very much.
