Frank Richard SmithLansing, MIFrank Richard Smith, 62, of Lansing, formerly of Flint, died February 23, 2017 of brain cancer.  Frank was born on March 29, 1954 in Flint, Michigan.  He is a graduate of Flint Central High School and Baker College.Frank is survived by his brothers John R. Smith (Dr. Vivien Dee) of La Quinta, CA and Dr. George F. Smith (Denise LaFave Smith) of Lansing, MI, nephew Dr. Shannon A. Dubenion-Smith (Dr. Kay Zavislak) of Bellingham, WA, niece Kristen C. Dubenion-Smith (Anthony Thompson) of Catonsville, MD (and their mother Shela K. Dubenion-Smith), and two great-nephews, Noah and Evan.  Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. Smith and Margaret E. Fuller Smith, Aunts Florence B. Fuller and H. Janet Smith Dentino, and his soul mate, Elaine Mobley.A private graveside service will be held at a future date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, Capital Area Humane Society, or Care Free Medical Clinic in Frank's name.
