Frank D. Rowe, 89Frank D. Rowe, 89, of San Pierre, IN formerly of Pulaski County, died at 9 PM Saturday, November 5, 2016 at his residence in San Pierre, IN. Frank was born on June 30, 1927 in Medaryville, IN to Cecil H. and Adeline Moore Rowe.Frank lived for 68 years in Medaryville, IN and 15 years in Winamac, IN before moving too Rensselaer, IN in 2010. He was a 1945 graduate of Medaryville High School. He also attended Ball State University. Frank married Jean Redlich on August 31, 1959 in Monterey, IN. Jean died on November 4, 1998. He then married Barbara Hilton Luchene on February 29, 2000 in McCormick, South Carolina. Barbara survives. Frank proudly served as a Private First Class (PFC) in the US Army, 68th Engineer Depot Company during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion Post #399 in Monterey, IN. Frank was a member of the United Auto Workers Union. He retired from the Budd Company in Gary, IN. After retirement Frank worked as a greeter at Wal-Mart in Rensselaer. Frank enjoyed playing basketball in his younger years and all sports throughout his life. He was an avid Cubs fan.He is survived by: Barbara E. Rowe, San Pierre, IN Second Wife; Frank D. (Peggy) Luchene, Hebron, IN Step-son; Dawn (Roy ) Deardurff, Rensselaer, IN Step-daughter; 3 grandchildren; 4 Step-grandchildren many great-grandchildren; Richard D. (Anne) Rowe, Merrillville, IN Brother; and Carol Sue Zehner, Mishawaka, IN Sister.Preceded in death by: Cecil H. Rowe Father; Adeline Moore Rowe Mother; Jean Redlich Rowe First Wife; Bonnie Allen Sister; Beverly Rowe Sister; and Jean Strang Sister.Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM EST Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel Medaryville, IN and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 11 AM EST The Christian Church in San Pierre, IN, with Minister Russell Tague officiating.Burial will take place at Roseland Cemetery in Francesville, IN.
