Floyd W. (Andy) AndersonFloyd W. (Andy) Anderson passed away December 31, 2016 at the VA Medical Center.Floyd W. (Andy) Anderson, 95, was born on November 2, 1921 in Mitchell, SD. He passed away at the VA Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD on December 31, 2016. Floyd, also known as Andy, was a proud WW2 Navy veteran and longtime member of Kiwanis. He had an extensive career in insurance and was an avid car enthusiast. His prominent traits included inquisitive free-thinking, coupled with a vivid sense of humor, combined with a strong work ethic and sense of honor. Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his wife Doris; son, Kurt; parents Anna and William; siblings Dorothy, Edward, Merle, Evelyn and Norman. Andy was survived by his children Mark, and Paul; nephews Joy, Todd, Michael, Leslie, and Roger Kramer. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 1:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home. Family will be present one hour prior for visitation. Burial will take place on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Hills of Rest Memorial Park with military honors. Andy will be forever cherished. www.heritagesfsd.com
