Fannie Mae Brown WEST COLUMBIA Fannie Mae Brown, 85, of West Columbia, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016, at her home. She was born on August 17, 1931, in Dillon, South Carolina, to the late John Elbert and Ruth Tyndall Brown. Fannie Mae was a loving wife and mother and was happiest when surrounded by family. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Nathan Brown. She is survived by her sons, Greg (Audrey) and Jerry (Michele) and granddaughter, Hannah. Services will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, at 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens.
