Evelena HaltermanAge: 78 • Bridgewater, VAEvelena Wane Halterman, 78, of Harrisonburg, and formerly of Bridgewater, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.She was born on November 8, 1938, and was a daughter of the late Theodore and Bessie (Rawley) Halterman.Evelena retired from Shenandoah Valley Electric Co-op and had worked at North River Telephone Co-op. She graduated from North River High School.She is survived by three sisters, Beatrice H Simmons, of Bridgewater, Hope Harmon and husband Page, of Staunton, and Charlotte Grimm and husband Carlyle, of Bridgewater. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Harmon and wife Elizabeth, Cheryl Ryman and husband William, Gary Simmons and wife Kathy, Beverly Will and husband Joe, Sathena Liskey and husband Mike, Maxine Arey and husband Carl, and Carla Mitchell and husband Danny, and a number of great nieces and nephews.Memorial Service will be held at Johnson Funeral Service in Bridgewater at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 28, 2017 with Rev.
