Esther Leolia Jackson-Peyton was born on April 21, 1954 in Los Angeles, CA. to Willie Jackson Sr. and Leolia Jackson. 

Esther was a lively, caring and loving person. She met and developed life-long friends during her life. She was the care-giver for her father until the Lord called him home.

In 2008 Esther became a member of Southern St. Paul Church where she followed in her father's footsteps and became an usher. She was also an active member of the Culinary Ministry. Esther enjoyed her church and was always willing to give a helping hand.

On December 2, 2016 the Lord decided to call her home so she could rest peacefully. She leaves behind her everlasting memory with her three children, oldest daughter LaShawn J Evans, son DeAndre T. Bennet Sr., and youngest daughter Monumental S. Mallette, daughter-in-law Johnny Bennett,  sisters and brothers Inez Hood, Elizabeth Galloway, LeRoy Galloway, Willie Jackson Jr. and Mary Jackson
