WIENINGER, ErwinThe family of Erwin Wieninger are sad to announce his peaceful passing on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the age of 84 years. He is reunited with his wife Frieda in the heavens above. Erwin will be lovingly remembered by his three children, Heidi (Ken) Coulas, Peter (Wendy) and Michael (Jennifer) and grandchildren Patrick, Matthew, Emma, Ryan, Grace and Jack. Erwin was born on November 5, 1932 in Vienna, Austria. He spent his youth in Pulkau and Vienna with his parents Johann and Hermine, brother Hans and sister Herma. Erwin travelled abroad for his training and career development in the hospitality industry throughout Europe. It was while working in Bermuda that he first met Frieda. He followed her to Canada where they got married and started their family. Erwin will be remembered for his integrity, work ethic and most of all for his joyous, free spirited attitude. A Celebration of Erwin's Life will be held at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. The family requests that in lieu of floral tributes, donations of time, or financial resource, be made directly to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, www.alzheimer.ca or a charity of your choice.
