Ernest M. Jaramillo 66, a resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016 in Las Vegas.He was born on Jan. 1, 1950 to Joe Ernest Jaramillo and Maria Faustina Maestas Larson in Las Vegas.He was united in marriage with Cathy M. Gurule on Jan. 28, 1971 in Las Vegas. Ernest was a self-employed handyman, a Catholic and a member of Immaculate Conception Church.He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Ernest Jaramillo; mother, Maria Larson; son, Phillip Jaramillo; and son-in-law, Jimmy Quintana.He is survived by his wife, Cathy M. Jaramillo of the family home; daughter, Maria Jaramillo of San Geronimo; son, Joe Jaramillo and wife, Michelle, of the family home; sisters, Madeline Drury of Las Vegas, Maryann Gurule and husband, Cayetano, of Las Vegas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Arturo Gurule and wife, Phyllis, and family of Albuquerque, Marylou T. Yang and family of Las Vegas, Mary Dell Gutierrez and family of Las Vegas, Dominic Gurule of Las Vegas, Luis Gurule and wife, Kathy, of Santa Fe, Jose Gurule of Las Vegas, Paul Gurule and wife, Anita, and family of Rociada, Tonita Gurule-Giron and family of Las Vegas, Elizabeth Gurule of Las Vegas, John Gurule of Las Vegas, Beatrice Paiz-Zavola and family of Upland, Calif., Minnie Gurule and family of Bernal, Delfina Gurule and family of Albuquerque; special niece, Darlene Chavez and Jaime of AlbuquerquM; special friends, Ernest and Theresa Jaramillo and family of Romeroville, Berna Gurule and family of Santa Fe, Placido Tafoya and Michelle of Las Vegas, Martin Quintana of San Geronimo, Cheryl Gallegos and family of Las Vegas, Roger Montaño of Las Vegas, and Estrea Romero of San Geronimo.Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas. Funeral Service will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday also at Immaculate Conception Church. Cremation has taken place and burial of cremains will follow at Mt.
