EMMA JANE MINTZ HOWARD Emma Jane Mintz Howard, 83, of Hampstead went to be with Jesus on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice. Jane was born on June 12, 1933 in Wilmington, NC to the late L.D. and Susie Mintz. She is also preceded in death by her husband Clifton Howard, son Donald Howard, and brother Eldridge Mintz. Jane is survived by her children, Rebecca Robinson (Cliff), Andy Howard (Sharon), Mary Noland (Greg), and James Arthur Howard; grandchildren, Marcus Howard, Jennifer Blizzard, Alison Justice, Ray Noland, James Andrew Howard, Matthew Howard, Melinda Howard; four great grandchildren and her sister, Barbara Gore (Marshall). Jane loved her family dearly and was a faithful member of Barlow Vista Baptist Church for many years. The family will receive friends from 1- 2pm Monday, December 19 at Barlow Vista Baptist Church. Services will be held at 2pm officiated by Rev. Greg Noland and Dr. Bill Guthrie. Burial will immediately follow in church cemetery with Rev. Danny Justice officiating.
