Emil Pacetti1938 - 2014Emil Pacetti, 75, a resident of Kenosha died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, at the Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie.Emil was born on Dec. 3, 1938, to the late Francesco and Olga (Silenzi) Pacetti in Campi, Italy. He moved to the U.S. in 1957 and on May 7, 1960, he married Jeanette Bertana at St. James Catholic Church here in Kenosha. He was employed by Leblanc from 1958-1971, and MacWhyte Wire Rope from 1971-1976. In 1976, Emil and Jeanette purchased Mannys Music and owned and operated Pacettis Music Unlimited together from 1976 until late 2009. Jeanette preceded him in death in 2011. Emil is survived by his second wife, Marsha Lee; sons, Frank (Jenny Berta) Pacetti of Kenosha, and Michael (Karin Welke) Pacetti of Germantown, Wis.; and two grandchildren, Paul Michael and Nina Marie Rose. He is further survived by one brother, Mario (Rita Tommasini) Pacetti of Rome, Italy, and a nephew, Marco.Emil was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Jeanette, and a niece Monica.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at 12:30 noon at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church (2317 17th Avenue). Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service.In lieu of flowers, in Emils honor, memorials would be appreciated to benefit student music programs. The family also suggests that people consider volunteering some time and energy in support of student music programs, as Emil did for so many years.
