Sosinski, ElmerElmer Sosinski, age 90, of Fond du Lac passed away peacefully on August 10, 2017 at his home.He was born on May 9, 1925 to Charles and Olga (Zuhlke) Sosinski. Elmer attended and was a graduate of Berlin High School.On July 31, 1948 he was married to Patricia Dowell.Elmer worked as a mechanic in Berlin until moving to Fond du Lac in 1964 where he worked for his love of cars. He owned and operated his own service stations and car businesses until semi retiring in 2003, and then fully retiring in 2005.He faithfully served his Country for five years in the US Army and was a veteran of the Second World War. He later served as Past Commander of the Lomira American Legion. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin American Insurance.Elmer is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Charles Sosinski, Michael (Debra) Sosinski, Kristine Sosinski, Sterling (Sarah) Sosinski, Michelle Sosinski; ten grandchildren; twelve greatgrandchildren; two great greatgrandchildren; and other relatives and many friends.He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Olga Sosinski; daughter, Karen Jones; son in law, Hobert Jones; daughter in law, Diane Sosinski; sister in law, Ramona Blickhahn.The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of downtown Berlin. A memorial service will be held following the visitation at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Father David Greenfield.
