Ellen Lynette Hale Weaver “Sugar” passed away November 30, 2016 due to health complications at Redlands Community Hospital. Sugar was a resident of Calimesa for 75 years. Sugar was born on September 17, 1941 in Redlands, California and was a 1959 graduate of Redlands High School. Sugar’s parents were Elwein and Enid Hale of Hale and Greenslade in Calimesa, California. Sugar’s siblings include: Janis Burke of Riverside, California, Gary Hale of Huston, Idaho, and twin Elaine Annette “Punky” Herrick of Shell Beach, California. Sugar was such a sweet Mom, Wife, Nana, Sister, Aunt and Friend. Sugar is survived by her husband Malcolm “Mac” Weaver of Cherry Valley, California; Daughter, Margaret Weaver of Calimesa, California; and son, Ted Weaver, Daughter-in-Law Lori Weaver and twin grandchildren Avery and Ryder Weaver, all of Temecula, California. Sugar always said, “One day at a time”, and that is how she lived her life. Mac and Sugar were married on January 30th, 1964. They travelled extensively together throughout the United States. They were a true ramblin’ team. Sugar enjoyed the mountains, beach, birds and flowers. Sugar made everything better for everyone! A celebration will be planned at a later date.
