Elizabeth L. Reed1937 - 2014Elizabeth Reed, 76, of Kenosha passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014, at Hospice House, in Pleasant Prairie.Elizabeth was born on Aug. 9, 1937, in Portsmouth, N.H., the daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy (Hurd) Moreau, and stepdaughter of Duane Nelson for 50 years. She was educated in the schools of Portsmouth, N.H. She married Charles Reed on July 2, 1955, in Portsmouth, N.H. and moved to Cass City, Mich., they divorced in 1985. Elizabeth was employed at Solder Wire Factory and General Cable for many years and also did preneed cemetery sales. Her hobbies included playing cards, doing puzzles, crocheting, knitting, traveling, playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends, especially her friends at Tuscan Villa.Survivors include her children, Laurie (Russell) Ianson of Pleasant Prairie; Scott (Mary) Reed of Texas, Steven Reed of Michigan, Russell (Lori) Reed of Michigan, a sister, Sylvia (Steve) Loring of N.H.; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her stepfather Duane Nelson, brother, Donald, a daughter in infancy, and a baby grandson. A visitation will be held on Tuesday June 17, 2014, from 1:30-3 p.m. at Kenosha Funeral Services, with a Funeral Service to follow at 3 p.m.Private entombment at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton, Wisconsin.In lieu of flowers memorials for Hospice Alliance, American Lung and American Cancer Associations would be appreciated.
