Elizabeth "Beth" Ann (Hensley) JohnstonElizabeth "Beth" Ann (Hensley) Johnston, 29, of Brookston, died at 9:34 pm, Thursday, December 5, 2013 at IU Health Arnett in Lafayette. She has been in failing health for the past 2 years due to heart complications. She was born on August 8, 1984 in Lafayette to the late Nathan Hensley and Ruth Chester. Beth was a 2002 graduate from Lafayette Jeff High School. Her marriage was to Lyle Johnston of Williamsport. They later divorced. Beth had worked at the Wendy's in Monticello. She enjoyed fishing and hunting, painting and all arts and crafts, but most of all, she loved spoiling her nieces, Joei and Addyson. Surviving with her mother are three sisters, Catrina Poelstra (husband: Scott) of Reynolds, Farrah Hensley (fiancé: Mike McKinney) of Oxford, and Jenny Tholl (husband: Mike) of Wolcott; two half-sisters, Tasha and Reva of Florida; two step-brothers, Matt Wilkerson (wife: Trisha) and Mark Wilkerson (companion: Cheyne); three step-sisters, Jennifer Wilkerson, Nicole Walston (husband: Nick) and Patricia Chester (companion: Eric); and her boyfriend, Kyle Davis of Delphi. Beth is also survived by 3 nieces and 1 nephew. Preceding her in death with her father are an aunt, Bert Pickering; uncles, James Hensley and Dick Mason; and a nephew, Scotty Taylor. Friends may call from 5pm until the time of a Celebration of Life service at 7 pm, Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston. Rev. Joe Parks to officiate.
