Wycklendt, Elizabeth "Betty" J. Elizabeth "Betty" J. Wycklendt, age 89, of Milwaukee, passed away on Wednesday June 28, 2017. She was born on June 15, 1928 in Milwaukee to the late Peter and Dagmar (Jensen) Hoerig. She earned her bachelors' degree in education from Cardinal Stritch. Betty was employed with a variety of companies throughout her working years but she always spoke fondly of her first job at the potato chip factory. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading and was known for her incredible baking but above all she cherished spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Alan Wycklendt, Jerry (Debbie) Wycklendt, Debbie (Jeff) Mazanec, Jim (Sandy) Wycklendt and Jack Wycklendt; her nine grandchildren, Amy (Casey) Gaffney, Jake Wycklendt (fiance Kelsey Klein) Tracy Wycklendt (fiance Josh Nonella), Brett Allen, Caitlin Mazanec (special friend Michael Seeliger), Jason Mazanec, Lisa Wycklendt (fiance Michael Diekelman), Jody Wycklendt (fiance Tyler Taves), Brady Wycklendt and Carly Wycklendt. She is further survived by seven great-grandchildren, Finley, Cole, Nora, Sydney, Chase, Hope and Archer and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Wycklendt; her brothers, Roger and Roy Hoerig; sister, Joyce Draeger and daughter-in-law, Jennifer (Alan) Wycklendt. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at CEDAR CREEK COMMUNITY CHURCH, 1414 1st Avenue in Grafton. Family and friends will gather on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Betty's name. Online condolences can be made at
