Hinrichsen, Elizabeth J. "Betty"Elizabeth J. "Betty" Hinrichsen, 86, of Owego, NY, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2017. She was born on June 30, 1930 the daughter of the late Frank and Theresa Buchler. She was predeceased by her husband Harold in 2011; her granddaughter Lisa Koroluck; brothers, George, Joseph, Frank, Henry, Bill; sisters, Katie, Mary, Clair, Rose; She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Michael) Noble, Owego; son, Eugene (Bonnie) Hinrichsen, Missouri; grandchildren, Daryl (Meridith) Koroluck, Justin (Aubrey) Noble, Heather (Aaron) Schafer, Jennifer Noble, Chelsea Walker, Kirsten (Andrew) Bowser; 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; friends, Ann Miner, Lillian Pufky and Al. Betty was a lifetime member of the Zion Lutheran Church, and the Home Bureau. She was proud to have worked for the McDonald's restaurant chain owned by the Clyde and Mabel Stoltz family. She enjoyed baking and socializing with her friends and family. Betty had a great sense of humor and was known for making people laugh. Funeral Services will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church, 3917 Waverly Road, Owego, NY 13827 on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 1:00pm with Rev. Grabenhofer, officiating. Burial will follow in Tioga Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to the Church on Monday, from 12:00pm until the time of service.
