Elie Eddy Laroche, 62, of Cooper City, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016. He was born on May 2, 1954, in Jacmel, Haiti. He was the son of the late Emmanuel Elie Laroche and Marie Teresa (Toussaint) Laroche. Survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Bernadette Laroche; his loving children, Alain (Tailor) Laroche, Reginald (Chantal) Laroche and Jennifer (Jonathan) Laroche; sisters, Marie-Claude Brutus and Cathy Laroche; and his pride and joy, grandchildren, Justin Laroche, Jordyn Laroche and Jaxson Laroche. Known for his great work as a Quality engineer over the past 30 years, the community celebrates his life and remembers him for his faith, moral values, the love for his native country, and most of all his love for his family. Eddy truly epitomized the term "a family man". A devoted husband, a dedicated father, protective older brother, and a spiritual advisor. Eddy believed in hard-work and perseverance. His children carry his legacy through community organizations in his name and pay tribute to their loving father in every facet of their lives. He will be sincerely missed by many as he touched so many lives and garnered respect by everyone he came across with his kind and generous heart.
