Goodman, Elbert Leo,Mr. Elbert Leo Goodman, age 83, of Fairdale, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 5, 2017. Mr. Goodman was born on September 8, 1933 to the late Elza W. and Clara Mae Goodman and he was a member of Okolona General Baptist Church.Among those who preceded him in death include, his son, Danny Leo Goodman, his 2 sisters and his brother.He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Goodman; children, Joy Phelps (Brad), Sandra Brotherton (Mike), Kevin Goodman (Holly) and Vicky Swift (Doug); daughter- in- law, Sheila Goodman; grandchildren, Cory, Sara, Patrick, Stuart, Jarrett, Nathaniel and Kellen; great grandchildren, Ava, Lilly, Nora and 2 on the way; sister, Dorothy Jaggers and a host of other family and friends.Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 9, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
