She celebrated her 83rd birthday a day earlier. Elaine grew up in Hamburg, NY and attended school at Hamburg High School. Elaine would meet her future husband, Russell, in Hamburg with the couple eventually moving to Tampa, FL in 1970. Elaine and Russell eventually relocated to Vero Beach, FL in 1989. Elaine was an avid reader, sports fan and loved to participate in board and card games. Elaine has been a member for many years at The Community Church of Vero Beach where she routinely attended. Elaine often spoke highly of the services and members. Outside of her personal interests, Elaine raised three children and volunteered her time to local elementary schools. Elaine is survived by her sister, Janice Stetler (William) of Ohio; son, Steven Hodson (Maritza), daughter, Laurie (Dana) and grandchildren Elaine, Jennifer, Julie and Darren (Nathalia). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at The Community Church of Vero Beach, 1901 23rd Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
