Hayes Fukumoto, ElaineElaine Hayes Fukumoto, age 73, of Kaneohe, Hawaii, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Kaiser Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii.Elaine was born on September 9, 1943 in Syracuse, New York. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Laura Hayes. Elaine moved to Valders with her family in 1959 and graduated from Valders High School with the class of 1962. She continued her education at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay Manitowoc County Campus. In 1969 Elaine moved to Hawaii and married Roy T. Fukumoto on August 16, 1969. He preceded her in death. Elaine was a sports enthusiast following football, basketball and soccer. She greatly enjoyed and valued her time with her grandson, Jared.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Laurie and Robert Padgett, Kaneohe, Hawaii; grandson: Jared Padgett; one sister and brother-in-law: Kathy and Thomas Koyen, Fond du Lac; one brother and sister-in-law: Michael and Alyce Hayes, Two Rivers; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Leo and Laura Hayes; her husband: Roy Fukumoto; grandson: Ryan Fukumoto; nephew Dylan Hayes; aunts, uncles, and cousins.In respect to Elaine's wishes there were no services held.
