KITTERY POINT, Maine - Edward, "Eddie", "Ed" O. Barsalou, 66, of Kittery Point, died Saturday, December 3, 2016, at home, surrounded by his family after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. Eddie was born on February 14, 1950, in Holyoke, Mass., the son of Omer J. and Marie Allain Barsalou. He was a 1968 graduate of Holyoke Trade High School in the field of mechanics. Upon graduation, he served in the Air National Guard for five years as a flight line mechanic. Eddie was predeceased by his parents. He leaves his wife, Louise, of 47 years, his three children, Aimee M. Kardulas and husband Daniel of Eliot, Nichole A. Barsalou of Kittery, E. Matthew Barsalou of Dover, N.H., three grandchildren, Cody E. Lemoi and his wife Taylor of South Berwick, Mercades X. Barsalou of York and Mychaela K. Kardulas of Eliot, one brother, George C. Barsalou of Holyoke, Mass., and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends. SERVICES: A celebration of Eddie's life will be held at Kittery Estates on January 14, 2017, at 1 p.m., and will be officiated by Dr. Scott Ferreira.
