Edward "Spank" L. Jones Jr.ZANESVILLE: Edward "Spank" L. Jones Jr. , 79 of Zanesville died at 11:50pm Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Genesis Hospice & Palliative Care.He was born on January 13, 1935 in Zanesville, OH the son of Edward L. Jones Sr. and Georgeanna Deweese Jones."Spank" retired from Buckeye Welding Supply after 35years of service. He loved spending time with Jay, Michelle and Dakota, riding his motorcycle, watching sports and hanging out with his buddies.He is survived by a son Jay (Michelle) Jones of Zanesville, a grandson Dakota Jones of Zanesville; two brothers Terry Jones of Florida and John (Kim) Jones of Pataskala; five nephews, Chris, Nick, Doug, Jeff and Pat; and four nieces, Leslie, Patrice, Pam and Paige. He was preceded in death by Parents and a brother Keith Jones.Visitation will be held from 1 to 2pm on Saturday, December 20, 2014 with Funeral service to follow at 2pm with Dr. Herbert Hicks officiating.
